Ryanair creates 200 new jobs for Ayrshire at Prestwick Airport

Ayrshire, Scotland, 11 February 2010--Ryanair’s new £8 million hangar
at Prestwick Airport will create 200 new jobs and deliver significant
investment to Scotland’s economy, First Minister Alex Salmond
announced.

The First Minister joined Ryanair chief executive Michael O’Leary at
Prestwick Airport to announce the creation of a second maintenance,
repair and overhaul facility at the airport. The Scottish Government
is supporting the project with the offer of £1.5 million in Regional
Selective Assistance and training grants through Scottish Enterprise.
